Yuan JIANG and Chen SONG's Fragrance Gallery Retail Store operates as an architectural signifier system encoding multiple layers of meaning through material, form, and luminosity that speak to fragrance culture, luxury aspiration, and sensory transcendence. The choice of perfume bottles as cladding material establishes immediate indexical connection to the gallery's purpose while elevating utilitarian containers to sacred architectural status, suggesting that fragrance itself deserves monumental celebration and ceremonial approach. The chromatic gradient system may reference the traditional olfactory pyramid structuring perfume compositions: base notes of warm amber and musk tones anchoring the periphery, heart notes of floral rose and coral occupying middle registers, with fresh top notes of crystalline clarity ascending toward the zenith, thereby translating invisible scent architecture into visible chromatic code. The dramatic low-angle perspective positions the viewer in a posture of reverence typically associated with religious or civic architecture, encoding the retail experience with aspirational transcendence beyond commercial transaction. The bilateral symmetry framing the entrance portal activates archetypal threshold symbolism, marking passage between mundane exterior and refined interior realms, a liminal space of transformation. The mirrored ceiling introduces the symbolic weight of reflection, doubling, and infinite regression, suggesting that fragrance experience extends beyond material possession into memory, identity, and emotional depth. Considering the surrounding area, Beijingfun, a historic and vibrant place, Soda imagines the Vivinevo's first store with the perspective of art gallery, integrates brand experience into retail space, develops an innovative solution to meet and exceed customers' expectations. In the atmosphere created by media imagery and interactive activities, Soda offers customers a multi-dimensional experience. The fragrance retail space is ultimately presented as an art gallery, breaking the traditions of the sales environment.
