The spatial composition of this exhibition design encodes a sophisticated symbolic vocabulary addressing themes of temporal continuity, cultural memory, and the transformative potential of architectural intervention. The prominent glass partition functions as a threshold symbol, its transparency suggesting permeability between present experience and historical consciousness while maintaining sufficient boundary to mark the distinction between active engagement and reflective observation. The vintage leather case positioned in the foreground operates as a repository symbol, its weathered patina signifying the accumulated experiences and cultural productions that justify preservation efforts, potentially referencing theatrical or cinematographic heritage given the project context. The mid-century modern furnishings carry significant design-historical resonance, their organic forms and honest material expression evoking an era of optimistic modernism when designers believed thoughtfully crafted objects could enhance human experience, their presence in this renovated heritage space suggesting continuity of design values across generations. In recent years, Enning Road has been renovated, and gradually developed into a famous street full of time-honored brands that focuses on the tourism industry, even claimed as "the beautiful old street in Guangzhou". Yongqing Fang islocated in Enning Road, the core area of old Guangzhou. As the Grand Theateris one of the landmarks of Yongqing Fang, the client expected to revitalizeit and make it serve as the investment promotion center of the whole renovation project. The project was finished in November in Guangzhou.
